Paid Internship: Future Leaders in Public Service

Applications to participate in the Partnership for Public Service program are open now! Supported by Schmidt Futures, this program has created a new opportunity that will place students into the federal government over a summer to gain valuable work experience and make a difference for our country.

Participants in the program will receive:

  • A 10–12-week summer internship with two federal agencies and a variety of opportunities for students majoring in STEM, liberal arts, business, and more.
  • $4,000 stipend to help cover expenses.
  • Professional development sessions and networking events throughout the summer.
There has never been a better time to launch a government career and help address our nation's biggest challenges—from health crises like the COVID-19 pandemic, continued economic inequality, and the ongoing need to build a more equitable and just society.
