1856 Project: Listening Sessions for Campus Community

 

Join the University Libraries for The 1856 Project Launch: Listening Sessions where you will hear our history, mission, objectives, and how you can participate in this project.

The 1856 Project will conduct ongoing analysis of the university’s historical connection to slaveholders, the slave economy, and the many legacies of that history. Its findings will support the university’s goal of addressing equity in the twenty-first century. The listening sessions will take place on February 21 and March 1 from 11am-12:15pm.
