Free Tutoring Resources

Looking for dedicated study time and tutoring for BSOS courses? The following offices offer free academic support for a variety of ECON, GVPT, & PSYC courses in Spring 2016.

  • Academic Achievement Programs (AAP) Academic Success and Tutorial Services (ASTS) offers free peer tutoring for the campus' most challenging courses.   • The Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Education (OMSE) is a free, walk-in tutorial program that covers most key courses in Writing, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, and more. Individual and small group tutoring consisting of 2-4 students per group is available each semester. Stop by or call today to see if help is available in your course.   • Learning Assistance Service of the Counseling Center offers services to help students strengthen their study skills. Assistance is provided with Guided Study Sessions (GSS), time management and organization, study plan development, effective reading, exam skills, managing exam anxiety and more. Services are provided through individual and group academic coaching, learning skills courses, math learning support, and workshops.
