Recruiting Coordinator World Wildlife Fund Position for May or Recent Grad

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Recruiting Coodinator at our Washington, DC office. The position coordinates key processes for the Recruiting department to include onboarding and new hire orientation, temporary staffing, Intern hiring, job postings and applicant tracking system administration. S/he performs a variety of standard and complex administrative duties and responsibilities for the Recruiting team.
  • Manages the Onboarding process for employees, interns and temps which includes ownership and administration of the E-verify process for new hires; coordinating background investigations with the third party vendor; scheduling and coordinating the weekly New Employee Orientation. Facilitates the HR portion of the New Employee Orientation once a month. Captures feedback on new hire experience through survey administration and works with Talent Acquisition Manager; to make changes and improvements.
  • Coordinates and manages the WWF Intern program. Trains Intern hiring managers on use of the applicant tracking system and provides technical support on the system as needed. Provides general guidance in terms of determining paid or unpaid status of Interns. Produces Intern offer letters in coordination with the hiring manager.
  • Coordinates and manages temporary staffing requests for the organization. Liaises with temporary staffing agencies, phone screens potential temporary staff for hiring managers and makes recommendations about the top candidates as needed. May assist with in-person interviews of temporary staffing candidates.
  • Assists Recruiters with scheduling of in-person interviews and reference checking as needed.
  • Manages the content for the Recruiting pages on the HR SharePoint site. Manages iCIMS system administration changes and manages job postings to our external site as well as additional sites.
  • Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to run the annual EEO/AAP data reports, Recruiting Report and other metrics as needed. Keeps track and produces Staff Update report on a weekly basis.
  • General office duties - Makes travel arrangements; orders supplies; coordinates mailings, produces and distributes documents, reports and other materials. Coordinates meetings/conferences. Processes and codes invoices for the department; liaises with the Finance team as needed. May assign work and coordinate projects performed by part-time and temporary staff
  • A Bachelor’s degree along with one year of experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, customer service or an administrative role required.
  • Ability to use MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel
  • Good organizational and analytical skills needed; effective writing ability necessary to prepare own correspondence.
  • Prior Applicant Tracking Systems and/or job posting software experience preferred.
  • Attention-to-detail and solid organizational and coordination skills are a must.
  • Interpersonal skills requiring courtesy, tact and diplomacy required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and problem-solve in order to complete work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
