Native American Indian Heritage Month Events

Heritage Month Kickoff:
 5th Annual Maryland Commission on Indian Affairs Ceremony

The official ceremony to kick-off 2018 NAIHM in the state of Maryland. A panel discussion on Native Youth and Elders working together, followed by Governor Hogan's Commission on Indian Affairs honoring local Native leadership and welcoming Native dancers. We hope to encourage reflections on the history, achievements, and contributions of modern day Native American/Indigenous tribal communities.
