Nyumburu's Solomon Comissiong is still running his weekly African/Black history and political education workshops each week—email him for the link to join the next one!
Today's session was about hip-hop history and the role corporate media has played in censoring hip-hop's more radical voices—weaving together social justice, music, history, and revolutionary narratives into one eye-opening workshop. Upcoming topics are yet to be decided but each session promises to teach you something you didn't know you didn't know.
Sessions are either Tuesday or Wednesday of each week at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. Email Solomon for to be put on the invite list and to get the link to join!
