Consider volunteering for SCALE!
SCALE- or Science Competitions Advocating for Learning Equity- is an on-campus organization committed to serving underprivileged Prince George's County Elementary schools. At SCALE we believe that each student should have the same opportunities to develop a passion for STEM. Join our volunteers in hosting a variety of competitions from making slime to modeling the solar system!
Two of our volunteers visit PGCPS elementary schools at a time, and competitions are hosted once a month, so there are plenty of opportunities to get volunteer hours and be involved!
If you are interested in volunteering, come to our next general body meeting on November 17th at 5:10 PM in room CHM2201 (second floor of the chemistry building).
